Lanvin "YU GARDEN" Spring Summer 2021 collection

For Spring/Summer 2021, Lanvin creative director Bruno Sialelli voyages: through space, through time. The collection will physically debut in Shanghai in October 2020, for the occasion staged in the city’s 16th century Yu Garden - translated as ‘Garden of Happiness’. The location is symbolic: the rural discovered within the urban, a symbol of Chinese history in a metropolis known for its modernity. The exchange between the old and the new, between heritage and the contemporary, inspires the collection’s approach, a reexamination of the legacy of the Maison, its physical archives and Lanvin’s ideological meaning.
