Co-produced by Brandon alongside frequent collaborators Parsqw and destrovsli, ‘CEILING’explores the concept of alternate timelines, delves into the realities of life in London and raps about the juxtaposition between his current humanity and potential outcomes of different choices. Laid over heady orchestral instrumentation, showing the layers to Brandon’s artistry, the track reflects on pivotal moments and decisions that have shaped him; considering where he might have ended up had he chosen an alternative path. It also pays homage to those in Brandon’s life, who took varying paths, and explores his perspective in the form of meaningful and relatable art. Through introspective and poetic lyrics, alongside a self-directed visual, Brandon's honesty is palpable. Speaking on the single, Brandon said: “I wrote ‘CEILING’ with the duality of man in mind; the idea that there is both good and evil living within everyone. Despite my background and the seemingly coincidental proximity to the underbelly of society, I could become the person I am today, unscathed and perceptively ‘good’ unlike many who fall victim to their surroundings.”
