Lola Young Unveils Her Latest Anthem, ‘Flicker of Light'

Flicker Of Light' is a blistering, world-class electro-rock anthem where Lola Young roars from the darkness into a transcendental light. With the invigorating, repeated howl 'I’m still alive!' and the euphoric cry 'I’m just too far gone!', this new single is set to become the ultimate, communal, fist-pumping festival moment of her career.

Lola released her much-lauded album This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway earlier this year. The record marks a remarkable shift in Lola’s sound as an artist, it was recorded in LA and produced by friend and collaborator Solomonophic (Remi Wolf, BROCKHAMPTON, Dominic Fike). Lola’s recent body of work is home to her previous singles including, ‘Wish You Were Dead’, ‘Conceited’ and ‘Messy’, with the album crackling with kinetic energy and lyrically fuelled by rage, passion, narrative flair and comedy derision.

Through her captivating filmed content and no-nonsense output on life, Lola has won over a new legion of fans spanning both sides of the Atlantic, including the likes of Snoop Dogg, Tyler The Creator, Donald Glover, Ty Dolla $ign, Offset, Michael Stipe, SZA, Little Simz and Lily Allen.

Armed with a phenomenal live plot to see out what has been an incredible year for the South London-based artist, Lola will embark on the North American leg of her This Wasn’t Meant For You AnywayHeadline Tour this September. She will head out on the UK run this December, which includes a hometown show at O2 Kentish Town Forum (upgraded from Brixton Electric) on 10th December. She will then venture into Europe for headline appearances next February. Lola recently performed at Lollapalooza Chicago and Osheaga Festival in North America as well as appearing at Yung Blud’sinaugural Blud Fest amid a jam-packed Summer festival season.
