Paula shares her inspiration behind the track: “I've always liked salsa piano progression; I find it soulful and rich in groove. One day, I was listening to 'Bilongo' by Fania All-Stars, and I was in a trance because of how the piano moved and sounded. At that time, I was working in the studio, and I dared to use a Latin piano progression, curious to try something similar but in a more electronic key.”

The title reflects her desire to spotlight the vibrant South American music scene. “Acid Latino is a state of mind; it’s a feeling of emotions that are coming through a long process of awareness. Much of the music was inspired while traveling the South American continent and sharing moments with my people around there,” Paula explains.
