Gather the Necessary Ingredients.

You will need the following ingredients to create this classic Italian dish - 20 pieces of square or round, store-bought ravioli, all purpose flour and Italian-style breadcrumbs for a crunchy coating, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1 large garlic clove minced, 1 1/2 cups vodka tomato sauce and some fresh basil to garnish. Be sure to check each item off your list before beginning!

Make Your Vodka Sauce.

Begin by making your vodka sauce. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic and sauté for a minute or two. Pour in the vodka tomato sauce to the pan and bring to a simmer. Allow the sauce to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add salt and pepper to taste and set aside until ready to use.
Assemble the Ravioli.

Begin by taking the precooked ravioli out and setting atop a plate.

Sprinkle them with some freshly grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and salt & pepper to taste. Heat some extra-virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once it’s hot enough, add in the ravioli and sauté until golden brown on both sides (about 4 minutes). Serve the fried ravioli with the rich vodka sauce and enjoy!

Coat the Ravioli in Breading Mixture.

Once the ravioli has been lightly seasoned, it’s time to coat them in a delicious breading mixture. In a shallow bowl, combine 1 cup of unseasoned breadcrumbs with 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1⁄4 teaspoon of paprika and salt & pepper to taste. Mix until blended together. Proceed to dip each ravioli into the breadcrumb mixture and make sure it is evenly coated.

Fry and Plate the Ravioli for Serving.

Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the hot oil and fry each side until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve the fried raviolis warm, garnished with parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Enjoy with your vodka sauce!
