With echoing synthesisers and driving percussion, the record is a bittersweet outing that marks Eera's fifth release of 2024. "As I Break Apart" arrives on a strong wave of singles for Eera, including last month's "Smile (Bass)" with frequent collaborator DJH, and "Crash", which received acclaim from Resident Advisor, Wonderland Magazine, and CLASH. This August, Eera made his Boiler Room debut alongside evilgiane and Snow Strippers, which was hailed by many as the closing party of the summer. Eera is continuing his run from 2023, in which he released his debut full-length project Can't Stop Wasting Time featuring remixes from evilgiane, Snow Strippers, and Nick León, as well contributions to fellow SURF GANG member evilgiane's recent collab album with Slimesito, EVILSLIME, and January mixtape #HEAVENSGATE VOL. 1. Eera is also known for his work with artists like Bladee ("WALLET WONT FOLD", "FML"), Rich the Kid & Jay Critch ("Fashion"), Babyxsosa ("24HRS P2"), Black Kray ("RB2002", "ANGEL WINGS MY GOONS"), 03 Greedo ("BEN DAWAVE"), and more.

Eera is from West LA. He is a founding member of NYC media collective and record label SURF GANG. He's worked with a wide array of artists, including Babyxsosa, Bladee, Black Kray, and 03 Greedo.
