20-year-old London based musician/producer Kai Bosch has today released his new single, ‘Orbit’ - a meticulously textured, restrained and oftentimes haunting love song, written by Kai to his 17-year-old self. Following his recent debut ‘Be Right Back’, which received nods of approval from Clash, The Line of Best Fit, NME, BBC Introducing and more, ‘Orbit’ provides a further introduction into his beautifully crafted artistry.

On the single, Kai explains "It was written and produced from my bedroom last summer. It explores my first love, and how my perception of love as a whole has changed with age. For a long time I tried to recreate that feeling of first love to no avail, but as time passed I realised that as much as I tried to recreate the past, I had to look to the future.

The song captures brief snapshots from the months following my first heartbreak: stumbling through Shoreditch at night, hanging out the window of a Berlin apartment - the lyrics offer sympathy, but also a knowing smile.

For the remainder of my teens I half hoped I would return to this first love, but with this song I realised that after everything we had been through in the three years since our departure - we would never be the same people again.
