Pa Salieu Drops New Single and Video 'Belly'

Gambian-via-Coventry star and one of Britain’s most distinct artistic voices returns with brand new single Belly, his highly anticipated first release since 2022’s collaboration with Mura Masa and Skillibeng Blessing Me.

Pa Salieu, the BBC Sound of 2021 winner, returns to the music scene with Belly, produced by his longtime collaborators Felix Joseph and AoD. The track showcases his signature energy, authenticity, and pride in his Gambian-British roots, affirming why he's become one of the most dynamic voices in British rap. Salieu's ability to evolve musically while staying true to his identity sets him apart in an ever-changing landscape.

Pa first captured the public's attention in 2020 with his breakout hit Frontline, a rap anthem that became a sensation. The track quickly earned heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1Xtra, becoming the most-played song of 2020. Over the next year and a half, Pa's name was on everyone's lips, leading to notable performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Later... with Jools Holland, where he delivered unforgettable performances that solidified his place in British rap.

His collaborative spirit and genre-spanning versatility have also helped elevate his career. Pa has worked with a diverse range of artists, from fellow rappers like SL, M1llionz, and Ghetts, to jazz virtuoso Yussef Dayes, and even experimental acts like Black Midi’s Morgan Simpson. Not content with just dominating music, Pa has also left his mark on the fashion world, working with prestigious brands like Givenchy, Burberry, Dior, and Palace.

Belly sees Pa Salieu coming back stronger than ever, a symbol of his growth as an artist and his unshakable presence in British music. Whether through his bold style or collaborative projects, Pa continues to push boundaries, showing that his meteoric rise is just the beginning.
