Rahim Redcar Announces the Release of New Album "Hopecore"

Rahim Redcar, the artist formerly known as Christine and the Queens, has exciting news for fans: she will release his new album, "HOPECORE," on September 27th. This highly anticipated project is entirely written, produced, and mixed by Rahim himself, showcasing his artistic vision and dedication to his craft. To kick things off, the first single, “DEEP HOLES,” drops today, accompanied by a visually striking poem crafted by the artist.

In her own words, Rahim describes "HOPECORE" as a deeply personal endeavor: “Hopecore was made with tears, blood, and mostly an unwavering faith in the raw, pure expression of the soul. Music took here its full prophetic vastness, got wilder, and called for an absolute quest where no one else came in to tamper with intentions. A call of the flesh, a prayer for justice and freedom.” This statement reflects the profound emotional depth and thematic richness that listeners can expect from the album.

Fans can look forward to experiencing "HOPECORE" live, as Rahim plans to perform in a series of club dates that will be announced soon. This comes on the heels of a remarkable performance at the Paris 2024 Paralympics Opening Ceremony, where he captivated an audience of 10 million viewers with his stunning renditions of Édith Piaf’s “Non, je ne regrette rien” and Patrick Hernandez’s “Born to Be Alive.” He also wowed audiences at the final ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe, where he performed “Supernature” alongside Cerrone.

"HOPECORE" marks a new chapter for Rahim, following the release of the ambitious 20-track opera "PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE" in 2023 and its accompanying project "Redcar les adorables étoiles" in 2022. As he prepares to unveil this new body of work, fans eagerly await the evolution of his sound and vision.
