The album is populated by lush synths, infectious rhythms, and futuristic production alongside the science fiction narrative. Inspired by Bollywood and sci-fi films, Asha’s Awakening wears its influences on its sleeve, as Raveena’s diverse palette of synthesisers is complemented by south Asian sounds like the electric sitar and tablas.
