In Summer's own words, "This project is a collection of songs, some written almost 8 years ago and others more recent. These songs needed to be expressed to help me move on – from relationships, be they romantic or platonic, and to process the loss of friends and family. 'outmysystem' is my release, allowing me to move on to the next chapter in my life."
