The Ascendant is a horoscope's second-most significant component.
The astrological sign that was on the eastern horizon when the person was born is known as the ascendant (Asc, Asc, or As).
The ascendant represents the unique environment and conditioning that a person receives during their upbringing as well as the conditions of their youth to astrologers because it is specific to a certain period and place. Because of this, astrologers believe that the ascendant also has to do with a person's ability to portray themselves to others, particularly in public and impersonal settings.
According to some astrological ideas, human action is reflected or influenced by celestial phenomena according to the axiom "as above, so below." So, according to certain astrologers, the ascendant represents a person's outward appearance and waking consciousness.
