Keanu Reeves made his acting debut in the 1985 movie "One Step Away," although in a supporting part. Nonetheless, he played alongside actors Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper in the movie "River's Edge," which is where he first gained notoriety.

But, the 1989 release of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" marked Reeves' genuine career turning point. In the cult classic film, Reeves portrayed Ted "Theodore" Logan, one of the two protagonists who use a telephone cabin to travel through time. Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, a sequel to the immensely well-liked original film, was released in 1991.

Since then, Reeves has provided the voices for numerous popular films, including "The Matrix," which has become one of his best-known works, "The Matrix," "Point Break," and "Speed." Reeves has established himself as a versatile performer who can portray a variety of roles, from serious roles to action heroes, over the years.
