Gucci presents the GucciCore campaign: a portrait of plurality in New York

The House unveils the GucciCore campaign, placing the collection at the center of New York and reflecting the plurality at its heart.

Photographed by Peter Funch, the GucciCore campaign unfolds in a series of images that bring together groups of individuals across New York, drawing on the photographer’s longstanding exploration of the relationship between the individual and the collective within urban spaces. The images reflect the plurality at the heart of GucciCore: different people, styles, and ways of wearing clothes intersecting much like the streets of New York itself.

The campaign spotlights the GucciCore collection, first revealed on the runway in Times Square in May, and conceived as the foundation of the House’s stylistic language. It brings together pragmatic, wearable staples, from the peacoat and trench to the business suit, essential shirt, and pencil skirt, alongside expressions of Italian glamour and elegance, forming a core wardrobe that is unmistakably Gucci.
