Haider Ackermann reveals the FW26 Snow Goose by Canada Goose Collection in the Far Reaches of Southern Chile

Together in the middle of nowhere: An Expedition into granite spires, glacial ice and gaucho country, where wilderness stretches beyond the horizon.

TORRES DEL PAINE, CHILE — As much of the world turns toward winter, Torres del Paine is thawing into spring, a season that can deliver sun, sleet and a wind, all before lunch. From October 10 to 13, Creative Director Haider Ackermann led the latest Snow Goose by Canada Goose Expedition here, taking the campaign's idea of Axis of Endurance, the quiet tension of staying with something longer than comfort allows, out of the abstract and into one of the most remote landscapes on earth.

Joined by Amanda Harlech (creative consultant), Aron Piper (actor / musician), Christopher Horsley (volcano climber), Evan Mock (actor), Fai Khadra (creative director), Gray Sorrenti (photographer), Isabella Burley (founder of Climax Books), Jerry Stafford (stylist / creative director), Liam Swiderski (model), Marc Kalman (creative director), Mona Tougaard (model), and Payton Talbott (UFC fighter), the group journeyed from Santiago to Puerto Natales before taking to the skies for their first glimpse of Torres del Paine. From above, the granite towers of the Paine massif emerged from the vast Patagonian steppe, revealing their home base: Explora Torres del Paine, the only lodge located within the national park.

The next morning, a catamaran crossed Lago Pehoé to begin an 11-kilometre hike along Lago Grey, the glacier widening with every step. By afternoon, guests were kayaking between drifting icebergs toward the face of Grey Glacier, returning across the water as the light softened, with glasses chilled by glacial ice awaiting them.

On the third day, the group travelled further still, reaching camp in Sierra Baguales on horseback. Once home to the Aónikenk people and later crossed by gauchos, the remote range holds marine fossils high in its peaks, a reminder that this land was once seabed. The evening belonged to the gauchos: lamb cooked slowly over open fire, and stories shared beneath an uninterrupted sky.

Torres del Paine set the tone, but the Snow Goose by Canada Goose FW26 collection made it possible to explore. Each guest was outfitted in a layered kit built to move as quickly as the Chilean spring weather. The 3-Layer Jacket stood against the wind off Lago Grey, while the Quilted ¾ Zip Top and Diamond Down Trousers held warmth through cold mornings and colder nights at camp. The Rider Shirt, in a tree bark print of Golden Khaki and Dark Anthracite, the Trapper Hat and the Hiker bag completed the kit. Rendered largely in Moss Khaki, the pieces read as part of the landscape rather than an interruption of it. A custom sweatshirt and T-shirt carried one line: "Together in the middle of nowhere."

The Snow Goose by Canada Goose Fall/Winter 2026 collection launched online on October 8 and is now available at select stores globally.
