According to Business of Fashion, Ludovic de Saint Sernin is parting ways with Ann Demuelmeester after just one season with the label.
The Paris-raised designer was appointed as Ann Demuelmeester's creative director in late 2022. In March 2023, he debuted the first show for the Belgian label's Fall/Winter 2023 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The collection featured 36 looks, paying tribute to Ann Demuelmeester's past archive looks while infusing them with De Saint Sernin's signature provocative aesthetics.
Despite launching his own label only in 2017, De Saint Sernin has already built a young and powerful fanbase. Known for his sensual and boundary-pushing vision, the designer has a talent for crafting social-media-savvy narratives that resonate with younger audiences.
As of now, neither De Saint Sernin nor Ann Demuelmeester's management has commented on the designer's departure from the label.
