The Iconic Song By Mina Returns In A Re-edition For The Debut Show Of Gucci Creative Director Sabato De Sarno
Following the enthusiasm for and viral online and offline success of ‘Mina Ancora, ancora, ancora – Mark Ronson remix’,the song is available starting today on all digital stores and on the radio, accompanied by a special re-edition of the historic album cover in the Gucci Rosso Ancora shade of red.
On the occasion of the Gucci Ancora fashion show, presented in September, Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and music producer Mark Ronson collaborated to create an original remix of the iconic song, Ancora, ancora, ancora, which was released to great success in 1978 by celebrated Italian artist Mina, with lyrics by Cristiano Malgioglio.
Ronson had said on his social media channels to have discovered the incredible depth and talent of the singer: “I had never heard the iconic Ancora, ancora, ancora by Mina before Sabato told me he wanted to use it as the main track for his debut as Creative Director of Gucci. What a song. I immediately fell in love with her voice, the passion and desire, of the beautiful orchestral arrangement… It was a joy to work on it.”
The show’s soundtrack also includes the tracks ‘Late Night Feelings’ by Lykke Li and ‘Loveher’ by Romy.
