Miu Miu Unveils Helen Marten's "30 Blizzards" at Art Basel Paris: A Fusion of Fashion, Art, and Performance

Paris is set to become the epicenter of a captivating cultural convergence this October as Miu Miu, for the second consecutive year, returns as an official partner of the Art Basel Paris Public Program. Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu constantly reflects her core practice, of engaging with stories of femininity and women’s lives and histories, reflecting these concepts through multilayered explorations across fashion and culture.

As Official Partner of the Art Basel Paris Public Program for the second year, Miu Miu announces “30 Blizzards.” , a major new project by Turner Prize-winning artist Helen Marten. Presented at the Palais d’Iéna - headquarters of France’s economic, social and environmental Council - from October 22-26, 2025, the work also marks Marten’s first exploration into performance - echoing the complexity, depth, and conceptual richness of her practice - by blending sculpture, video, libretto, and movement.

In a sequenced, live performance, “30 Blizzards.” animates a poetic landscape of human identity, navigating themes of time, language, structure and transformation. Conceived with theatre and opera director Fabio Cherstich and composer Beatrice Dillon, the work unfolds as an immersive choreography of text, image, and presence.
