Saint Laurent Rive Droite has invited French reportage photographer and filmmaker Léon Prost to exhibit photographs in the SLRD stores in Paris and Los Angeles.
Léon Prost strives to capture what cannot be seen; his lens is a prism that makes the invisible visible. His eye captures momentary, often unexpected encounters, and builds a dialogue of great spontaneity, through photos taken on the spot during vacations, joyful moments with friends or intimate scenes.
His photographic technique, always with flash and without any retouching, produces a luminous result with saturated colors, often referencing the style of fellow photographer Martin Parr. Prost has also collaborated with magazines such as M le monde, Vogue, ID and others.
For Saint Laurent Rive Droite, Anthony Vaccarello has curated a series of photographs that portray a sense of freedom and spirited vision. A fanzine will also be available featuring all the artist's photographs.
