the VALENTINO VIVA SUPERSTAR BAG campaign is here

Valentino has just launched the third campaign in a trilogy dedicated to its signature bags. After Nellcôte and Vain, the latest chapter celebrates the Valentino Garavani Viva Superstar, interpreted through a distinctive and evocative visual language.

Conceived by Creative Director Alessandro Michele and photographed by Drew Vickers, the campaign captures a series of cinematic black-and-white shots that intertwine mystery and refinements. Set against glimpses of an undefined city, the images portray a woman in motion. Her identity remains hidden: her face obscured by windswept hair or deliberately shielded by her Viva Superstar bag. Whether striding purposefully or slipping into shadow, as if eluding the gaze of onlookers or escaping an unseen lens, the protagonist – determined not to be captured – embodies a magnetic and enigmatic elegance.

With its strong identity and oversized VLogo, the Valentino Garavani Viva Superstar family continues to channel a retro-inspired spirit rooted in the artistic scene of the 1970s.

This season, the color palette expands with the addition of a striking new combination - red paired with deep black – joining the two existing bicolor options: optical butter white with black, and a rich black and brown mix. Core silhouettes are reimagined in new textures, including a precious skin variation. Functionality meets flair with the introduction of two new formats: a compact crossbody camera case - complete with chain and leather shoulder straps - and a belt bag, designed to also be worn as a body or shoulder bag thanks to an adjustable chain.
