Vivienne Westwood x George Cox / create a limited-edition collection of unisex shoes.
The 1970s marked the beginning of a connection between the British fashion house and acclaimed shoemaker, originating at Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren’s ‘Let It Rock’ boutique, which carried George Cox’s signature footwear. Forged in a shared commitment to culture, authenticity and craftsmanship, the partnership reconnects for Spring-Summer 2026. Celebrating 75 years of George Cox’s original ‘Creeper’ silhouette, the capsule collection is comprised of three ‘Creeper’ styles.
The striking silhouette was a foundational aesthetic element adopted by subcultural movements from the Teddy Boys to the Punks, and beyond. The Vivienne Westwood X George Cox designs feature chunky crepe soles and a signature basketweave style interlace - hallmarks of the original ‘Creeper’ silhouette first established by George Cox in 1949.
The Point Toe Monk, features a studded belt and buckle clasp, referencing the archival Vivienne Westwood Alex Belt, complete with embossed branding and elevated chunky crepe sole. The Point Toe Monk is available in a two-tone black and white or monochromatic all black leather upper.
The Hatton Derby features a high shine snake-effect print upper, flat laces fastened with George Cox’s D-Rings, and chunky crepe sole. All Vivienne Westwood X George Cox silhouettes are finished with a hand-woven double row basketweave style interlace on the toe. This collaboration pays tribute to a timeless icon, evolved for a new generation.
