REDValentino announce a special project in collaboration with renowned Central Saint Martins, part of the University of the Arts London (UAL).
Creativity is not only about generating ideas; it involves making critical judgments. The creative process includes elaborating, testing, refining and even rejecting a new concept. It’s about the value of deep understanding. To generate different solutions, meaningful and original content, REDValentino challenged and gathered the creative students of the Central Saint Martins’ MA Fashion Image Course to prove truth, dynamism and fresh authenticity. A new generation of innovative image makers have interpreted the REDValentino collection by just being themselves, bringing romance into reality, each one in their own way. Breaking the rules to make their own, following their method, instinct and will - heralding the freedom of playing and subverting norms.
The Spring/Summer ’21 Collection has been interpreted through a limpid gaze and personal aesthetic. A powerful message on what individual and inner perspective really is: a new vision made of passion and dedication. The Spring/Summer ’21 collection spins around a sense of energetic ease; lines are fluid and highlighted by smooth and light fabrics. Asymmetries, wraps, slits, and ribbons give an idea of elusiveness to capture. Embroideries and patterns remind us of bucolic fields filled with romance. The artists showcased their ability moulding the brand’s codes within their creative aesthetic and vision, each one of them with their personal imaginative masterpiece. Fashion as a personal point of view, as an experience to create something meaningful. A dream you make alone is a dream. A dream you make in two, or more, becomes reality. REDValentino fosters creativity and dreams to create an idea factory.
