Vault, the online concept store created from the vision of Creative Director Alessandro Michele, is evolving. True to its mission of curating and presenting precious objects that represent a love for beauty and speak of dreams, passion and the eternal quest for ideas that go beyond the confines of time and space, Vault now plays host to a selection of jewelry designers, each of whom brings a distinctively creative voice to the platform’s ever-growing tapestry of talent: Seb Brown, Mondo Mondo, Bernard James, Bleue Burnham, Charlotte Chesnais, Georgia Kemball, Martine Ali, Rebekah Kosonen Bide, Fraser Hamilton, Castro Smith, Tétier, and Elie Top.
These 12 creatives work with the ancient art of jewelry making to express themselves in highly personal and distinctive ways. Their creations span from talismanic, sculptural pieces that draw on art, poetry, historicism and folkloric costume to colored gemstones inspired by summers in city parks passing through rough-hewn creations referencing the beauty and magnitude of the natural world and pieces shaping a new heraldic vocabulary recalling antique astronomical clocks and celestial measuring instruments. All of the designers featured in Vault have stories to tell.
To accompany the new intake of talent, Vault also presents its fourth drop of pre-owned vintage Gucci pieces. Following the path that began with the first drop, these items have been hand-picked by Alessandro Michele and the archivists of the House, and all have been restored and reconditioned, bringing to light several one-of-a-kind pieces. Each vintage article is numbered and comes in its own unique packaging.
